Joining GenerAsians my first year, second semester was one of my first opportunities to fully embrace my passion for writing about Asian/Asian American issues. Finding the space to not only explore these topics but discuss them with people who were as curious as I was so refreshing and empowering. I also relished GA’s chill vibe in contrast to the regular stresses of schoolwork; Thursday night meetings in Clapp were a great chance to make new friends while planning the magazine and chatting about latest campus news. I’ll miss the GA community but know that we’ll all do great things! Personally, I hope to get involved in the global non-profit world in preparation for a career in public service and/or international relations.
