I’ve always loved writing, but my freshman self didn’t think she’d have much to contribute to GA as she considered herself a very Americanized Korean American. However, the Editor-in-Chief at the time convinced me otherwise. Thanks to her, I met a lot of cool people passionate about Asian/Asian American issues and media. Yes, sometimes it was hard work sticking to deadlines, but the highs and lows alike gave me a taste of publishing and ultimately taught me how to be a better leader. These days, I’m copywriting and working on personal writing that I never got around to in college.
